The 2009 ATK User Meeting will be held in Copenhagen 7-8 September. Register now - the event is free of charge.

It is our great pleasure to invite everyone interested in Atomistix ToolKit and QuantumWise to the ATK User Meeting in Copenhagen, 7-8 September 2009! During these two days we will give seminars and training on ATK and VNL, and also give previews of the current development at QuantumWise.

This will be a great opportunity to discuss your experiences with ATK with other users as well as the team developing the software, and to learn how to get the most of the software in the training seminars. We will also provide information about our future development plans.

More details will be posted as the schedule is settled, etc. Please check back regularly for updated information!

We are looking forward to seeing you in Copenhagen in September!

Location

Location

The workshop will be held in Building 311 on the campus of the Danish Technical University (DTU) in Lyngby outside Copenhagen. Use the map below, and/or download a local map of DTU.

The easiest way to get to DTU from central Copenhagen is by bus 150S, which leaves from Nørreport train station and stops relatively close to DTU (stop called Rævehøjvej/DTU), or taxi (which however can be quite expensive).

Accommodation

Unfortunately QuantumWise is not in a position to assist with hotel bookings or other travel arrangements. We can however recommend hotels and provide general advise.

We suggest participants in the workshop to book a hotel in the vicinity of Nørreport train station, from where you can easily catch a bus to the workshop (see the "Location" tab), and yet you are very close to the heart of Copenhagen.

Hotels in this area:

For more options, try Google or Booking.com (or Hotels.com or Expedia).

You are advised to book your hotel as early as possible, as hotels in Copenhagen tend to fill up completely when there are large conferences in town.

Registration

Participation in the user meeting is free of charge (travel and accommodation on own) but registration is required since the number of places is limited. Please register by sending an email with your details to info@quantumwise.com.

We have a limited number of slots for users to give a short presentation of their research with ATK (about 10 minutes each). If you wish to give such a presentation, let us know when you register (or later).
